This dual h-bridge motor controller can control two DC motors independently at the same time. The L298N has a built-in 5V regulator that converts the supply voltage to a 5V output voltage. This output voltage can be used to power your Arduino, for example. The 5V regulator can be switched on using a jumper.
Note: The built-in 5V regulator can only handle voltages up to 12V. If you use a supply voltage of more than 12V, make sure the jumper for the 5V regulator is not connected.
