A USB to TTL serial (RS232) converter adapter. Its USB-A connector makes it easy to connect to USB devices.
The module can be configured for 5V or 3.3V with the jumper provided. Without jumper, the IO pin output voltage is 3.3V. For 5V, place the jumper between VCC and 5V. Always disconnect the module from the computer before changing the voltage so that there is no current on the module.
